Trump renames Lake Ontario to Lake America

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday directing the renaming of Lake Ontario to "Lake America" within the United States.

The order takes effect immediately, according to Trump, and comes amid an escalating trade dispute with Canada.

Lake Ontario is one of the five Great Lakes and sits on the border between the two countries.

The renaming has no legal effect outside the United States.
