Will Ferrell hosts SNL finale

Comedy legend Will Ferrell returned to host the season 51 finale of Saturday Night Live, featuring a surprise appearance by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

The episode included a controversial cold open where Ferrell portrayed the ghost of Jeffrey Epstein visiting Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

Musical guest Paul McCartney closed out the season with an encore performance of 'Coming Up' following his initial two sets.

The finale also featured a cameo by Molly Shannon and the return of the popular 'Weekend Update' joke swap between Colin Jost and Michael Che.
