White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent hosted Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to discuss the startup's latest AI capabilities.

The Trump administration has previously been hostile toward the company, blacklisting its Claude model and labeling it a 'radical left' organization.

However, the advanced cybersecurity capabilities of the new Mythos model have prompted a re-evaluation by federal officials.

The government is now reportedly considering granting major federal agencies access to Mythos to help identify and defend against autonomous cyber threats.
