Wembanyama avoids suspension

NBA officials have confirmed that Victor Wembanyama will not face a suspension after being ejected from Sunday's Game 4 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Spurs' center was tossed in the second quarter after striking Naz Reid in the neck with an elbow, an incident that was upgraded to a Flagrant 2 foul upon review.

The league's decision to not impose further penalties means Wembanyama will be available for a critical Game 5 as the series remains tied at 2-2.

While some analysts, including Draymond Green, argued for a suspension, the NBA determined the play did not meet the criteria for additional discipline.
