DOJ Probes E. Jean Carroll

However, the top federal prosecutor in Chicago has denied that his office is directly investigating Carroll herself.

The inquiry appears to be focused on potential campaign finance or tax violations related to the outside financial support she received during her successful $83 million litigation against the president.
