Israeli Fire Kills Two Palestinians in West Bank Village

Israeli forces shot dead two Palestinians and wounded a third during a joint raid with settlers on the village of Deir Jarir in the occupied West Bank.

The Israeli military said it raided the town to 'prevent friction' during the settler assault, adding that soldiers opened fire after 'terrorists threw stones'.

Settlers also stole livestock during the incident.

The killings have drawn international condemnation, while Israeli ministers and settlers marched to the Gaza border calling for the return of settlements to the territory.
