Trump Unveils New Air Force One Donated by Qatar

President Donald Trump unveiled a refurbished Boeing 747-8 at Joint Base Andrews, the new Air Force One gifted by Qatar.

The controversial $400 million jet, painted in a custom red, white, and blue livery, was overhauled by L3Harris Technologies and is set to join the presidential fleet.

The unveiling came a day after White House officials bid farewell to one of the two older Boeing 747s that had transported presidents for more than 30 years.

The new aircraft will make a ceremonial flyover on July 4 as part of celebrations for America's 250th anniversary.
