Mike Vrabel misses draft for counseling

Mike Vrabel issued a public apology to his family just minutes before the start of the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh.

The controversy erupted after photos surfaced showing Vrabel and former Athletic reporter Dianna Russini together in 2020 and more recently at a casino.

Russini has since deleted her social media accounts and resigned from her professional post.

While the NFL has declined to open a formal investigation, the scandal has become a significant distraction during the league's premier offseason event.
