Vaping Linked to Cancer Risk

Vaping Linked to Cancer Risk

A major study published this week has provided fresh evidence of the health dangers associated with vaping.

Researchers found that the chemicals in e-cigarette vapor can cause DNA damage in the lungs and other organs, similar to the effects of tobacco smoke.

While the risk of developing cancer is lower for vapers than for smokers, the study's authors warned that the long-term impacts are still not fully understood.

The findings have led to renewed calls for stricter regulation of the vaping industry and more public health campaigns targeting young users.
