Artemis II crew returns home

NASA's Artemis II crew, consisting of three Americans and one Canadian, shared detailed accounts of their journey around the far side of the moon.

Commander Reid Wiseman and his team praised the performance of the Orion capsule, particularly the heat shield during its high-velocity reentry.

The mission marks the first time humans have traveled to the lunar vicinity in over 50 years.

The astronauts emphasized that the data gathered will be essential for the planned Artemis III mission, which aims to land astronauts on the lunar surface.
