Stalker Jailed for Murder

A London court has sentenced 34-year-old Yurii Muzyka to life imprisonment for the brutal murder of his former partner, Halyna Hoisan.

Muzyka carried out a calculated stalking campaign, hiding a GPS tracking device inside their young daughter's scooter to monitor the victim's movements.

After discovering she was seeing someone new, he burst into her Greenwich apartment and stabbed her to death while filming a 'video selfie' next to her body.

The judge described the crime as an act of extreme jealousy and depravity, noting that Muzyka had ignored previous police reports regarding his abusive behavior.
