John Korir delivered a masterclass in distance running to secure his second consecutive victory on the streets of Boston.

Riding a favorable tailwind, Korir outpaced the strongest field in the event's history to blister the previous course record.

His performance was matched by fellow Kenyan Sharon Lokedi, who also repeated as the women's champion.
