Kyiv supermarket mass shooting
Kyiv was rocked by a violent attack on Saturday when an armed man opened fire on civilians in a residential district before barricading himself inside a grocery store.
Ukrainian officials confirmed that six people died in the assault, including several on the street and one inside the supermarket.
Police engaged in a forty-minute negotiation with the suspect before storming the building and fatally shooting him.
Investigators are currently examining whether the attack was a lone act of terror or directed by Russian intelligence services.
