Sherrone Moore sentenced to probation
The sentencing follows Moore's firing in December after the university learned of his inappropriate relationship with the staffer, Paige Shiver.
Shiver provided a victim impact statement in court, describing the fear she felt when Moore allegedly stormed into her home after their affair ended.
The judge criticized Moore's actions but noted his lack of a prior criminal record and his wife's support as factors in the decision to grant probation.
Moore must also pay fines and comply with strict conduct conditions, marking a definitive end to his tenure at one of the nation's top college football programs.
