Vance Accuses Israel of Undermining Iran Peace

Vice President JD Vance alleged on Joe Rogan’s podcast that elements of the Israeli government paid online influencers to criticise Trump’s Iran diplomacy, sparking a fierce backlash from Republican and Democratic Israel supporters.

Senator John Fetterman warned he could leave the Democratic Party if it adopted an anti-Israel stance, and Representative Randy Fine said Vance was out of step with the GOP. Conservative pundit Ben Shapiro said Vance sounded like a Democrat on the podcast, while commentators accused the vice president of scapegoating Israel for the failure of his own peace efforts.

The row exposed a deepening divide inside the MAGA movement over foreign policy and the US-Israel relationship.
