Tottenham falls to Sunderland
The result marks Tottenham's 16th league loss of the season and extends their winless run to 14 matches.
De Zerbi admitted after the match that his players are 'suffering too much' from the fear of relegation and that a change in mentality is urgently needed.
The game was also marred by a nasty collision between Antonin Kinsky and Cristian Romero, the latter of whom left the pitch in tears.
With only six games remaining, Spurs face an increasingly uphill battle to avoid the drop.
