Roblox Launches Youth Accounts

The move by Roblox comes as governments around the world, including Australia and Greece, consider or implement social media bans for minors.

CEO Dave Baszucki stated that the goal is to create a safer environment for play while maintaining the platform's core creative features.

The new accounts will be divided into three distinct age tiers, with the most restrictive settings applied to children under 13.

Privacy advocates have welcomed the changes but continue to urge for even stronger protections for young gamers.
