Tamil Nadu assembly elections

Across 234 constituencies, millions of voters have exercised their franchise in a three-cornered contest that could reshape the state's political landscape.

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and superstar Rajinikanth were among the first to vote, urging citizens to fulfill their democratic duty.

While the campaign was described as relatively muted, the arrival of film stars at polling stations caused unruly scenes in some areas.

The Election Commission is investigating several complaints of fake voting and soft campaigning near booths.
