Pope Leo visits Angola

Pope Leo visits Angola

During his visit to Luanda, Pope Leo XIV delivered a powerful message against 'despots' and the 'logic of extractivism' that has plagued Angola's economy.

The pontiff celebrated a massive Mass in Cameroon before flying to Angola, where he was greeted by thousands of faithful.

Aboard his plane, he sought to downplay his ongoing feud with Donald Trump, stating that he has no interest in a public debate with the U.S. President.

Despite the Pope's calls for peace, Trump has continued to criticize the Catholic leader's stance on the Middle East conflict.
