Lebanese Journalist Killed by Israel
Khalil is the fourteenth media worker to be killed by Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon since the conflict began.
She was sheltering in a house in the town of At-Tiri when it was hit by a missile, leaving her trapped under rubble for hours.
Her colleague, Zeinab Faraj, was also seriously injured in the attack and remains hospitalized.
The incident has drawn international condemnation and intensified calls for stronger protections for journalists working in conflict zones.
Israel has denied targeting journalists, claiming its strikes are directed at military objectives.
