Artemis II Crew Returns Home

NASA's Artemis II crew, including Commander Reid Wiseman and Pilot Victor Glover, received a hero's welcome in Texas after successfully splashing down in the Pacific Ocean.

The mission marked the first time humans have traveled beyond low Earth orbit since 1972, setting a new record for deep-space travel distance.

During their first public appearance, the astronauts described the profound impact of seeing Earth as a 'lifeboat' in the void of space.

The data collected during the flight is expected to be vital for establishing a permanent human presence on the lunar surface.
