Urvil Patel makes IPL history

Urvil Patel has announced his arrival on the IPL stage with one of the most destructive innings in the tournament's history.

The CSK wicketkeeper-batter smashed six sixes in his first eight deliveries, eventually finishing with 65 runs off just 23 balls to chase down a formidable target of 204.

Patel dedicated the performance to his father, Mukesh, noting that he had been practicing hitting 200 sixes a day in preparation.

Teammates and rivals alike have hailed the knock as a turning point for Chennai's season, which had been struggling with inconsistent middle-order performances.
