Artemis II Crew Returning Home
The crew, consisting of three Americans and one Canadian, is currently preparing for the most dangerous phase of the mission: atmospheric re-entry and splashdown.
NASA officials have warned that there is 'no plan B' for the final descent, which will test the Orion capsule's heat shield under extreme conditions.
During their voyage, the astronauts conducted vital scientific observations and shared stunning views of the Milky Way.
The mission is scheduled to conclude with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean on Friday.
