Zelenskyy Heads to Sweden

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is visiting Stockholm to finalize a major defense agreement with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

Sweden has agreed to sell 20 new Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine and will accelerate the donation of 16 older models to bolster Kyiv's air defenses.

The deal, valued at nearly $3 billion, is funded through a European Union support loan.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the acquisition is vital to countering intensified Russian ballistic missile attacks on Ukrainian cities.
