Bonnie Tyler resuscitated after arrest

Welsh music icon Bonnie Tyler is in critical condition at a hospital in Portugal after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The 74-year-old singer, who was already in a medically induced coma following emergency abdominal surgery, had to be resuscitated by medical staff at Faro Hospital.

Fans and fellow artists, including Susan Boyle, have shared messages of support as the star remains in intensive care.

Tyler's family has requested privacy during what they described as a "deeply challenging" health crisis for the legendary performer.
