Pope Leo XIV Africa Tour

Pope Leo XIV Africa Tour

On the third day of his historic African tour, Pope Leo XIV addressed a capacity crowd at Japoma Stadium in Cameroon.

The Pontiff's homily focused on the 'material and spiritual poverty' affecting the region, urging young people to resist the temptation of corruption.

This tour has seen the Pope debut a more assertive diplomatic voice, which has sparked repeated criticism from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Following his visit to Cameroon, the Pope is scheduled to travel to Angola to continue his 11-day journey.
