New IRA suspected in bombing

A car bomb explosion outside a police station in Dunmurry, Belfast, has been condemned by political leaders as a 'reckless and dangerous' attack.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has released body-worn camera footage showing the moment of the blast, which occurred while officers were in the process of evacuating nearby homes.

Investigators believe the dissident republican group known as the New IRA is responsible for the device.

The incident has reignited concerns over the threat of domestic terrorism and has led to renewed calls for increased police funding and security measures across the region.
