Nelly Korda wins third major

Nelly Korda captured the Chevron Championship on Sunday, securing her second major title of the season and her third overall.

The American star finished with a final-round 70 at Memorial Park, ending the tournament five strokes ahead of her nearest competitor.

With this victory, Korda officially regains the world number one ranking and cements her status as the dominant force in women's golf.

Singapore’s Shannon Tan also made headlines by recording her best-ever finish at a major, placing tied for 38th.
