Swalwell face resignation calls

The political future of the California Democrat is in jeopardy as the Manhattan District Attorney's Office and the Department of Homeland Security launch separate investigations.

Former staffers have publicly turned on Swalwell, stating that his continued presence in office is an insult to those who worked for him.

In addition to sexual assault claims, he is being probed for allegedly employing a nanny who was not authorized to work in the U.S. Swalwell has denied all allegations, but prominent Democrats have begun joining Republican calls for his expulsion from the House.
