A former student opened fire at a vocational high school in southeastern Turkey, wounding at least 16 people before killing himself.

The 18-year-old attacker, armed with a shotgun, fired randomly inside the building in the Siverek district of Sanliurfa province.

Students and teachers were among those injured, with some reportedly jumping from windows to escape the gunfire.
