Detective testifies Tupac suspect was 'shot caller'

A former Compton gang detective testified that Duane 'Keffe D' Davis was a high-ranking 'shot caller' in the South Side Compton Crips who had the final say in the shooting of Tupac Shakur.

The testimony came in the ongoing murder trial for the 1996 killing.

The detective's account provides new insight into the alleged hierarchy of the gang.

Davis faces charges related to the decades-old murder.
