Artemis II astronauts return home

Following a successful splashdown in the Pacific Ocean, the four Artemis II astronauts have returned to the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The mission, which included the first Canadian to fly to the Moon, Jeremy Hansen, set new records for deep-space travel by humans.

In their first public remarks, the crew emphasized the profound value of human connection and the stunning beauty of Earth from space.

NASA officials confirmed the crew is healthy and that the mission provided critical data for future lunar landings.
