Austin shooting spree suspects held

Three young suspects, including two teenagers, are in custody following a violent shooting spree that terrorized Austin, Texas.

Authorities allege the group used stolen weapons to open fire at more than 20 locations, including residential buildings and vehicles, wounding four people.

The random nature of the attacks forced city officials to issue a shelter-in-place order for a large portion of southern Austin while a massive manhunt was conducted.

Police eventually apprehended the suspects after a high-speed chase involving a stolen vehicle, bringing an end to the 24-hour wave of violence.
