US Navy Seizes Iranian Ship

The guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance intercepted the Iranian-flagged cargo ship Touska in the Gulf of Oman after it ignored warnings to stop.

US forces reportedly fired into the vessel's engine room to disable it before Marines took full custody of the ship.

President Donald Trump defended the action, stating the vessel was attempting to breach a blockade and warned that future attempts would be met with similar force.

Tehran has condemned the incident as 'armed piracy' and vowed a swift military response.
