Obama meets Mayor Zohran Mamdani

Obama and Mamdani read a children's book and sang 'Wheels on the Bus' with students, focusing on the importance of early childhood education.

While the conversation was described as private, the joint appearance is seen as a major endorsement of Mamdani's leadership in the city.

Critics of the mayor, however, remain wary of his ideological agenda and proposed tax hikes on the city's wealthiest residents.
