Louisiana father kills eight children

The Shreveport community is in mourning after the deadliest mass shooting in the US in over two years claimed the lives of eight children aged 3 to 11.

Police report that Shamar Elkins opened fire at two separate homes during a confrontation with his wife, who had recently requested a divorce.
