Bus Collision in Syria Kills 35

At least 35 people were killed and 30 injured when two buses collided head-on on a highway in central Syria on Saturday.

One of the vehicles was a civilian bus and the other was transporting security forces, the Syrian health ministry said.

The crash is one of the deadliest road accidents in the country in recent years.

Emergency crews worked for hours to extract victims from the wreckage.
