Sudan War Enters Fourth Year

The catastrophic civil war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces continues with no clear end in sight, as foreign interference fuels the violence.

UN aid chief Tom Fletcher lamented that the world has failed the people of Sudan, where near-daily drone strikes have decimated civilian infrastructure.

Almost half of the country's lifesaving community kitchens have been forced to close in the last six months due to a lack of funding and security.

The ongoing war in the Middle East has further complicated the crisis, as rising fuel costs and trade disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz hit humanitarian supply chains across the Horn of Africa.
