Turkey high school shooting

The incident occurred at a vocational high school in the Siverek district of Sanliurfa province, sparking panic as students reportedly jumped from windows to escape the gunfire.

Special security forces were deployed to the scene, and the wounded were rushed to local hospitals for treatment.

Authorities are currently investigating the motive behind the attack, which has shocked a nation where school shootings are extremely uncommon.

The local governor, Hasan Sildak, confirmed that the assailant committed suicide with the same weapon used in the rampage.
