Ryanair Passenger Sucked Out Window

A 61-year-old man was partially sucked out of a Ryanair Boeing 737 after a window dislodged during takeoff from Thessaloniki Airport, authorities said.

Passengers grabbed the man and hauled him back inside the cabin, and the crew performed an emergency landing.

The victim was hospitalized with neck and shoulder injuries and friction burns.

Aviation authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the window failure, which occurred on a flight bound for an undisclosed destination.
