Fighting With My Family musical

The project is a collaboration between Birmingham Hippodrome and Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions, with Olivier Award-winning playwright Jon Brittain set to write the book.

Producers believe the story's themes of family, ambition, and overcoming odds are 'exceptionally well-suited to the stage.' The original film, which starred Florence Pugh, was a critical and commercial success, and the musical version aims to capture that same energy with live wrestling sequences and original songs.

Casting for the production is expected to begin later this year.
