Artemis II astronauts return home

The successful return of the Artemis II crew marks a major milestone in humanity's return to the Moon.

Commander Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen were greeted by neighbors and families in Texas after their record-setting deep-space journey.

The mission brought humans the farthest they have ever traveled from Earth, providing critical data for the upcoming Artemis III lunar landing.

NASA is already looking ahead to future missions, with plans to build a nuclear reactor-powered interplanetary spacecraft.
