Global Sumud Flotilla Sets Sail

The Global Sumud Flotilla is set to depart from ports including Marseille and Barcelona, carrying hundreds of international activists.

Participants have described the mission as a necessary civilian intervention to address the deepening humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian territory.

Israel has warned that it will not allow the ships to breach its security zone and has previously used military force to intercept similar efforts.

The flotilla's departure comes as Iran and other regional powers continue to push for a permanent ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza.
