Artemis II crew returns home

NASA's Artemis II mission concluded successfully on Friday, marking a major milestone in the agency's goal to return humans to the lunar surface.

The crew completed a 600,000-mile flyby, testing critical systems on the Orion spacecraft and the Space Launch System.

Celebrations were held in Houston as the astronauts reunited with their families and shared their experiences of the voyage.

The mission's success paves the way for Artemis III, which aims to land the first woman and person of color on the moon by 2028.
