Tariff refund portal launches
Importers and their brokers will be able to begin claiming refunds online starting at 8 a.m. The portal is expected to be one of the most heavily trafficked government websites as thousands of companies seek to recover costs.
US Customs and Border Protection will manage the process, which is the first step in a multi-billion dollar fiscal correction.
