Trump hosts Artemis II crew

President Donald Trump hosted the four astronauts of the historic Artemis II mission at the White House on Wednesday.

Trump praised the crew for their record-breaking lunar flyby and mused about the possibility of going to space himself.

During the Oval Office meeting, the president viewed a gold-plated model of the moon and discussed his administration's goal of landing an American on the lunar surface before his term ends.

The crew, which includes NASA and Canadian Space Agency astronauts, completed their mission earlier this month, traveling further into deep space than any previous human flight.

The event highlighted the administration's continued focus on space exploration as a key national priority.
