Artemis II crew returns home
The crew, consisting of three Americans and one Canadian, has traveled farther from Earth than any humans in history during their 10-day flight.
While the mission has been a technical success, experts warn that the upcoming re-entry and splashdown represent the most dangerous phase of the journey.
The astronauts observed a unique solar eclipse and conducted vital research that will pave the way for future lunar landings.
NASA is currently monitoring the Orion capsule's heat shield as it prepares to endure extreme temperatures during its descent.
