Body found in River Tees

Police searching for missing 19-year-old Joseph Porch have discovered a body in the River Tees in Stockton.

Porch had been missing for over a week after last being seen on CCTV in the Thornaby area, sparking a massive community search effort.

While formal identification has not yet taken place, his family has been informed and paid tribute to their 'beautiful son' who made them 'forever proud.' Authorities stated that the death is currently being treated as unexplained, and a post-mortem examination is scheduled for later this week.
