Turkey school shooting kills 9

The assailant entered the Ayser Calik Secondary School armed with five pistols and seven magazines belonging to his father, a former police officer.

After opening fire in two separate classrooms, the teenager reportedly shot and killed himself as security forces arrived.

At least 13 others were wounded in the attack, with some students jumping from windows to escape the violence.

Turkish authorities have launched a high-level inquiry into the tragedy, which follows another shooting in Siverek that injured 16 people just 24 hours earlier.
