Three Firefighters Killed in Colorado-Utah Wildfire

Three firefighters were killed and two others burned while battling the fast-moving Snyder Fire along the Colorado-Utah border, which has now scorched more than 28,000 acres.

The blaze, driven by hot, windy conditions, prompted Utah's governor to ban personal fireworks for the week.

The National Weather Service said wildfire conditions remain critical across the Southwest.

The deaths highlight the growing danger of extreme wildfires in the western United States.
